HIIT Workout is Pure Evil.
So Girls! (and guys) Listen Up!
If you are busy with your daily life and have NO TIME for an exercise, then HIIT is a definite work out for you.
I experience the results myself!
See, I was a big fan of running. I told myself if I often run, or jog I may or CAN have those slim legs and better endurance like those marathon athletes (lol), but it'll take some time, so I just have to keep on running/jogging until it REALLY pays off one day. Well, of course this can happen, but, what's holding me back is what's inside my mind. Mentally exhausted. For those who don't know me, I'm a fast-pace-keep-on-moving kinda girl or in other words, I often get bored on certain things fast. One time doing it is super fun, second time...fun, third time... stressed out and will find some other super fun things to do. lol ...and this really does affect my whole weight loss exercise program. When I am physically exhausted, it'll affect my mind even WORST!
so after a bout 2 weeks of INTENSIVE cardio running workouts almost every single day (i ran indoor and outdoor) I then had to stop running. Blaming on my busy student-life schedule and assignments due dates, I started to slow down. I stopped counting calories on what I ate and yes, i stopped exercising for about 3 to 4 days. (Honestly, I CANNOT live with that *pout*) ...
But then I came across this HIIT workout program. Okay so I have heard about HIIT quite a long time ago but I was quite stubborn back then, I believed in my stance that RUNNING will SOLVE ANY WEIGHT ISSUES I HAVE! lol
when I started reaching a plateau, THAT was when it HIT me to do HIIT! (lame joke, please laugh) . So I tried searching for some HIIT exercise videos on Youtube. Before I began, I just skimmed through the whole content of the video, just wanted to see how is it going to be like, what kind of movements I will have to do etc... what came into my mind was "meh..that's IT??? I mean... C'monnn! I jog up hill and down hill, run on treadmill for an hour and THAT is what HIIT is all about" ...
The video that I am interested in offers a HIIT workout that comprises of jumping jacks, squats and toe touch, burpees, high knee jumps...yeah that sort of things. The things that I often skip if I had to do one. lol. Those simple things... simple LITTLE things...
Until...
Until I started doing it for REAL with a 100% effort no skipping any part from the video annnddd....
the next interval, I passed out. *dies*
wow.

WOW!!!
HIIT workout is a devilish workout I tell ya. High Intensity Interval Training.
Even MORE Devilish than running for an hour.
and after reading about HIIT workout on so many sites and fitness blogs, I have discovered that this workout is my heart and soul! It will not just help you burn fats and calories WHILE working out but it'll make sure you burn out those unwanted 'thaangg' within your body for the REST OF YOUR DAY! yes! 24 hours! burn baby burnnn! because you'll build more muscles and endurance as a consequence of this training.
HIIT workout is done only for around 20 minutes or even less! It is a program dedicated to those whom are always on-the-go with busy schedules and what not. Hmm...sounds very familiar.
Not only will it saves more of your time! it burns MORE FATS too!
so! give it a try babes!
Ditch those treadmills and running. :p (at least for a short while)
