Cafe Hopping: Spoon Cafe (29 March 2014, Saturday)
I have always wanted to go to Spoon Cafe,
and yesterday (Saturday 29 March) was the day when I finally been to the cafe.
Part of the interior inside Spoon Cafe. There are more towards the left and right of this picture. It is very spacious in there! |
Initially I only planned to visit Kak Farah and Kak Biha, two good friends of mine,
we met since day 1 I arrived in Edinburgh.
Oh.. those days *cries...
then the plan somehow 'expanded' to "let's go for a cafe hopping!".
Only, instead of hopping from one cafe to another, we just spent the rest of the evening at one cafe;
the Spoon Cafe.
So when we stepped into the cafe, we were asked whether we want the lunch menu or the coffee menu.
We chose the coffee menu. Because we were only in for a coffee session.
The cake selections were not that many. Probably by the time we arrived it was already around 4 pm, hence why variety selections of cakes were not available.
The three of us ordered the same cake though: Banana-Almond Cake.
I can't remember what drinks did Kak Farah and Kak Biha ordered, but mine was just a cup of chocolate. (in the menu it says it is made from dark chocolate, and it tasted as so)

There are more selections of food in the lunch menu but we did not ask for a copy so... might as well google Spoon Cafe to review more regarding its food selections.
We spent our whole evening chatting, catching up with each other's latest stories (although it seemed to me none of us have any good one...life has been pretty dull for most of us, I guess lol)
That's all there is for this post.
I still need to study for next week's final test before Spring break starts.
Have a nice day, all! :)
Burp, Alhamdulillah. |
